This game is going to be so much fun! Finally a new good Star Wars game coming out (last one was KOTOR/2, all the rest are pile of shit games)!

Upcoming PC games 2009 and onwards

Oh no! Another Star wars game for fans who buy everything with SW logo. We had SW shooter(s), SW RPG(s), SW Battlefield(s) 1942, now SW strategy. What's next? SW Splinter Cell(s)? SW tetris? Lucas Arts is pathetic. They even forget they have Indiana Jones as well. How about SW Indiana Jones? Losers Twisted Evil

Sure. But its pathetic anyway. Especially when you know that company like Lucas Arts can make REALLY great and fun games but they just dont want cuz these games dont sell very well compared to SW clones

Dawn of War has rather dull graphics. It's not bad per se, but it certainly isn't good either.

dont know what all the tripping is about. SW franchise is certainly one of the better if not best in terms of film to games. yeah some were crap but many were good.

Shadows of theEmpire, KOTORI&II,All the Jedi Knight Series, both Battlefronts(play BF2 and tell me honestly it isnt great fun) etc.

empires at war looks nothing short of fucking awesome, if you dont want to play it then STFU and dont post in the thread. easy. Wink

The animations absolutley rock! All those tiny unimportant ones make all the difference!

Like when the ahhh, whatcha-call-it?, you know, the thingy thats red, its a mech thingy, it picks up and grabs orc and crushes them with its fist. Ahh i should know this, I used to play 40k for a short time.

Yeah anyway, its all those little absolutely ownage animations like that, that make DoW's gfx so much fun.

Whereas Ground Control is all just boring sit back and fire, high quality, dullness, imo.

Ground Control 2 is still most REAListic rts with kick-ass-farcry-like gfx
it's not like u can build something in a seconds/minutes
deployment/accupation is much more realistic & i liked
makes u think before attack instead of charge & bams all dead so u can rebuild in minutes
playing chess by checkers rules is like driving bicycle with jet engine

i did & didn't liked cause it was Warcaft+Ground Control Hybrid plus camera sucked
& strategy of building as much units so they can occupie half of the map is nothing more than brainless slotter
gfx part- special efx were ok but models crapy-undetailed

So there will be five tutorials and a map from the galactic conquest part. And the units are limited and not all are available. Merde. Thought I could crush the rebels with a star destroyer in Orbit. Very Happy
