Has anyone seen an application that can check a web mail based account (fsmail.net - that does'nt support pop3).

Ideally freeware? Smile

(not requesting btw; just after a name or homepage)

Question

If you use trillian(for msn, irc and such) here is a plugin that worsk with IMAP(dunno if thats what you need)

Code:
This plugin enables POP3 and IMAP mail checking and alerts with optional secure connections.

Check it here http://trillian.cc/downloads/detail.php?item=133

You have to use Trillian PRO btw, wich is not free(4all) Razz

I looked at IMAP email chicking apps, doesnt seem to help in this situation. Stingey fsmail.net dont allow imap / pop connections. Im trying to be notified of emails when I recieve them from fsmail.net - It's a pain having to log in each time to find out.

skrzynka works with POP3 servers only (most of todays mail servers supports this feature) and can manage many mailboxes. Neutral..

Forward all the mail to a server that supports pop like Gmail? Does FSmail have an auto forward feature? I know its not an ideal answer, but it should work without any issues.

This works fine

ePrompter automatically and simultaneously checks and retrieves your email messages from up to sixteen password protected email accounts AND lets you read, delete and respond to any of your messages with a simple click on the account of your choice - without ever having to launch your email program or go to your webmail's site. Importantly, when ePrompter retrieves messages, it leaves the original messages on your various email accounts' servers and/or webmail sites.

ePrompter works with AOL, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, POP3, Earthlink, Excite, iName, Juno, Lycos, Mail.com, Mindspring, MSN, MyWay, Netscape, OneBox, Rediffmail, SBC Yahoo, Switchboard, USA.net and hundreds of other email domains.

The only solution (as I know) is to redirect your fsmail account to another account which supports POP3/IMAP.

ps: there is last chance that server could use MAPI - Microsoft Exchange Server - but I have no experience with it...
