that screenshot doesnt look prerendered but it looks to be at an AA+AF level that would cause the framerate to be 1fps and it also looks like it has been altered with an image editing program like photoshop to make it look sharper ,like codemasters do with the toca series ,they look shit hot! on there website but when you play the game for yourself they look nowhere near as good even at 1600x1200 with 6xaa and 16af

looks like crap if you ask me.. and the human models from oblivion don't look too good either.. the hair is solid integrated in their head.. even in PoP Sands of Time the hair was moving.. and that was in 2003.. if they don't fix that untill they launch the game it will have nice graphics for nothing (and the characters aren't all that expresive... i say this after viewing the 20 min presentation)

added spoiler tags to keep the layout tight Wink

The screen looks nice, but not shockingly good.
Is there anything else known about this game?

Doesn't look as good as Oblivion by far! And not to mention, Oblivion has a long list of sweet features attached to it.

Upcoming PC games 2009 and onwards

I know an engine that can make screens better than this on a 9700 pro, so there is no real evidence that its pre-rendered.

Intel i5 6500 3.2Ghz, Geforce 970GTX 2GB, 16 GB Ram, Windows 7

Don't know, it's not just about picture/screenshot quality in rpg games. I remember screeshots from Ultima IX and they were very sweet looking back then, but the engine itself ran very crappy even on the fastest pc's. Oblivion may look better on screenshots, but i'd rather want to see the graphics engine running before i judge it.

I agree in a sense. But hey, oblivion can't be bad. Its not possible. It can be a 7\10- 8\10 game. If we was wrong. But i guess not.

I am sure thats in-game shots. Of course every graphics option is on maximum and it probably runs like crap on hi-end hardware. But remember this game will be released Q3 2006, maybe later. Hardware will be MUCH more powerful then. So whats so "photoshop" about it? Real shadows on trees? Hair and Fur on that monster? You think thats impossible to render such things in real time with hi-end hardware now? Add 16x AA & AF and you have nice screenshot. Of course it doesnt mean the game is playable. Not yet Smile

But really. Look at the first picture. It looks like SHIT.. The monster is so "Off" in the picture and the light on the side? wtf is up with that? Lost some color in the printing machine or what?..Very Happy No man. Thats NOT ingame photos.(thats just what I think) MAYBE it will LOOK that way in the ending..but by then the grafics will suck anyhow..=)
