Aha just wanted to inform you all that I am about to change work... Razz

From building stuff for cellpphones (I was a "surface mounter" that means I was placing components on PCB's) to being telephone support for broadband users.

Yeah the new job might sound boring and shitty but the reason is that on the old job I only got one week notice about me being hired. It worked like this: wednesday afternoon I got to know if I had a job at all the next week. That sucked badly and I was going to get fired in a near time anyway (when the company removes the night work) so I thought it was better to jump on this one now instead.

Only sad thing about all of this is that I really liked my co-workers. They were all very nice to work with and I got to knew all of them very well. Felt really sad when going home today (last day was today) and I am already missing them. Can't really think about not seeing them at monday... Sad

So I feel very sad at the moment, anyone has any good tip on how to cheer up?

Crying or Very sad

Yes I am fucking emotional and all that shit over here so no stupid comments about that shit please!

Just wanted to share with all of you... Very Happy

I know how ya feel man. You become close friends with your co workers. But it doesnt mean that you will never see them again. And you made the job change for a reason, its better for you in the long run right. Everyone at your work will respect your decision, becasue everyone wants to do whats right for themselves. And it sounds like you left on good terms, so i dont think you have much to worry about. Soon you will have new co workers to BS with. It will all work out for the better. A Tip to cheer up. Take all your co workers out for a Beer, BS about your old job, and keep in touch with them.

Of course I am going to keep in touch with them and see them a few times and so. I bought a cake today and shared it with them when having a cofee break and so on, its just that now it feels strange not having to be there at 06.00 at monday and meet them.

They all understood why I changed job and encouraged me to do so too. Still it feels a little sad... You are absolutely right it will work out better for me and I will meet new people at my new job, very true... Smile

Well I guess I'll have to adjust how I explain things a little bit and not start talking about setting up that wireless network with 128bit encryption right away...
On the other hand I have been guiding relatives and friends over the phone when they're having trouble.

About the money on the new job it is actually a little less money involved but considering the fact that I am not getting a letter on wednesday that says if I am going to work monday is really worth it. Knowing that I will actually have money the next month too and so on...

my wife did ADSL modem tech support for a UK service provider, she lasted 6 months before caving into the hormonal testosterone fueled, unwashed bullshit
