i have seen people using waterproof keyboards that work. But i feel your pain. I lost at least two keyboards due to spilled wine and coffee

lol i spilled something into my keyboard once, i cant remember what it was but it made some of the keys hard to press for weeks after

It was wine. Thing is I got a new keyboard. Ugly as hell, grey keys, blue buttons and a black case.
But it's got a nice feel to it and it's very responsive.

Great for CS Very Happy.



Hahah it was only £5.99 and it's on ebay with the p&p alone for £6.75

looks ugly, but will be easier to use than this all black one I've got here.
can't see a fucking thing when the lights are down low. had to buy a USB light to point at the keys.

depending on the control-technology used you may be able to revive your keyboard still. I saved at least three keyboards this way, all with this conductive film/foil inside. Never worked with those with copper-contacts (the ones without this film/foil stuff in it). Dunno how to discribe it better, but when you open it you ll see. I made one of my ex-girlfriends very happy with repairing her keyboard after she spilled wine over it Very Happy

Luckly my mate gets dell keyboards for free, they usally last a couple of months.

I have a cheap GEMBIRD keyboard - this one http://www.gmb-online.nl/main.asp?mode=item&N=3104 isn't spill proof... but it has blue back light - helps to see all the bread crums and other shit under the keys... pretty cool Smile joking Smile
