hey guys i have question for ya'll ( a stupid one perhaps ) its like this ; my little brother got his own pc today so i thought "hey we could play games with eachother over lan " even games that i've downloaded......or can i ?? So...is it possible to play games without a valid cd key over lan?? if yes which new games CAN you play?

I do not know of any that isn't playable over lan.. Painkiller must be patched before lan-play though.

Well there are quite many out there today. if u can get a hold of keygens and stuff (comes usually with the release) UT2004 is a great Lan game and it have a keygen with the release. And the new "soldner secret wars" is also a great lan game and u can play it online too. Also the new RTS Rise of Nations Thrones and Patriots is great over lan and internet. Hope i could help... Neverwinter is abit hard to play over lan, but if you block internet access with zonealarm on advanced it can be done.

Really most non-mmorpg-multiplayer games can be played on lan no matter the code (most of the time you wont even need that keygen)

One of the best games I have played over a network (lan) Is urban terror a quake 3 mod. Play it with the bots on, Great fun

I think all games are playable on lan, just painkiller as allready been said, and Raven Shield also needs to be patched to play on lan. Some games might require a unique CD-key per player, but they should accept any key from a valid keygen.
