WASHINGTON, DC, United States (UPI) -- The Powerball jackpot for Saturday`s drawing is an estimated $365 million, a record for any U.S. lottery.
The cash option for the Saturday drawing will be an estimated $177.3 million.
The jackpot amount has jumped because there was no grand prize winner in Wednesdays` drawing. The numbers were 3, 13, 35, 39, 40 and the Powerball was 37. The Power Play multiplier was 5.
Fourteen players correctly matched the five numbers and won $200,000. Also Wednesday, 2,450,454 players across the nation won more than $22.2 million in prizes in the drawing.
Powerball is played in 28 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands
