Damn this really pissin' me off, so I hope you guys can help me out.

I made an extremely simple flash mp3 player, just plays on loading and has a play and stop button.

I have this code in there:

jeffPlay = new Sound( this );
jeffPlay.loadSound( "song.mp3", true );

If I publish and open the .swf on my machine, it works perfect, but after I upload both the sound file and the .swf, it doesn't work anymore when I load it in a webpage.

Anyone know what's up? Confused

Id guess it cant find the file? try using "../song.mp3" or maybe static link it ?

Yah I think it was some dumb permission thing... I ended up doing the entire path to the file "http://www.site.com/folder/song.mp3" but it was yelling at me for something before so I took it off that, put it back and changed a permission thing, works now. Thanks sYn.
