We won it last time
Still a silver medal from GB is actually good for Shelley Rudman. There's not many places you can do winter sports here, and to take that path over more 'available' sports is quite good to see.

Curling is pretty cool sometimes. Ive gotten right into curling matches before. '98 olympics were fuckin tense
Lots of chicks in these lesser known sports. Tons of smokin skier chicks.
And the speedskaters....*drools*...the legs on some of those girl's are just...wow. Just imagine how long and how hard they could ride it....jesus christ, I need to find a speed skater or even a figure skater.

nah some of the winter olympics are good. I like ice skating (not the danicing) and things like skeleton and bobslegh are amazing to watch, Especially when it comes down to 100's of a second. Skiing (alpine, slalom) are good. I'm not a fan of hockey, curling, dancing, cross country though.

I think it came out of someone wanting to try it out but not by themselves, maybe.

exactly, but considering 'canada have 90% of the worlds curling players' I'd expect them to do much much better than they have / are.

Curling is like golf on ice. It may not seem like it but its a viable alternative to crappy golf.
