I was playing just fine with my Audigy2 and Surround on until I went into the Administration area (after all hell breaks loose) just around the time you have to fight that weird looking half bull half machine monster?? Or whatever it is..
Anyway, since then I cannot get my surround back! It just dies after a minute..
That's weird. I have an audigy 2, and doom 3 detected it just fine as 5.1 speakers and plays fine in surround sound. No loss of sound after a minute iether..
maybe its something else on your systems?
Same here, I'm halfway through the game and the sounds been working great as 5.1 the whole time.
