I've pulled 48 hour shifts before (most notably in my Everquest glory days of grinding). The next day after, however, I slept for 18 hours. Quite a way to fuck up your schedule!
Your morning will be alright, but come midday (1 - 2 - 3pm) it'll probably start hitting you REALLY hard (at least thats how it happens with me). Good luck. Just remember...when you finally do fall asleep, it'll be the best fuckin sleep you've ever had! Almost worth it just for that hehe.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

the human body can go for a very long time without sleep, its just the initial fatigue that has to be overcome, after that you dont really feel tired anymore but your reaction speed simply drops.
i ve done so many 40-50 hours days that i got used to it, ca. every 2 weeks i have atleast one of these. overdoing it is very bad for your health of course, after the 40 hours mark you get headaches and the reaction speed of your brain to your eye-movement significantly slows down.
you ll survive it, dont be a pussy

you can get around sleep during 24 or 48 hours, but there will always be short or long time consequences.
a few years ago I was 3 days awake, without any sleep, and I always slept 3 to 4 hours per night, maximum.
and I know that my memory problems and my frequent headaches are directly connected to those mistakes I did.
some people say, "the most smart people sleep 5 hours a day", that's a pure lie, Einstein slept
about 11 hours a day, so as Hawking, and so on.
my advice is, sleep at least 8 hours a night because the lack of sleep is the worst you can do to your brain and body, it's even worst than drugs

Dude when i worked, there was a dude who almost never slept, asked him one day when he went to bed because he was whining about being tierd, he said 4-5am, and im like; shouldn't you get more sleep, yeah, but i was fixing something in linix, and had to read after that bla bla bla.
And after that he slept 1 hour, and he fucking go trough the day Also completed qualifying examination perfectly.
So my point is.. i don't think its the end of the world sleeping so little; ask Jenni about how much sleep mothers get

Thinks it is very individual how much sleep you need, i my self sleep alot, but i dont exactly need alot of sleep. For the past many years i havnt sleept that much before school days, but then again i have been taking alot of "free" time from school, even though i past with good grades. But now that i go to gymnasium i can see that i need to get more sleep to get through the day, not all the time but most of the time i have to, else i dont really get that much out of being in school.

Hehe yeah, i have a couple of guys in my class who always sleep the 2 first hours... But tho i go to IKT (IT + communication) very chill, and easy to get good grades. But anyway, i think it will be hard to keep this lifestyle later in life, atleast if your going to study in the uni.

Im going to the doctor tomorrow and demand the bitch give me some goddamn effective sleeping pills...last time i had insomnia, she gave me these weak ass pills. Like, they made me tired and relaxed, but didnt make me sleep. I swear, I pay that bitches salary, I should be able to get the medicine I fuckin need. Still, the other medicine did work, but i had to drink like a 6 pack to make em work - said dont take with alcohol or may cause severe drowsiness, and trust me, the warning was true. I need that kinda shit, but without having to crack open a bottle of JD to make it work....

For most of my teen years I've been an insomniac. Sometimes, I enjoy it: it gives me so much time to do other things (gaming, study, etc.) but whenever it happens I'm tired and fairly unresponsive the next day for want of sleep. Caffeine is a patch, b/c its effects wear off relatively quickly and you need to stop drinking it for months to restore its effectiveness. Most of the time now though, I get enough sleep b/c I'm in night school, but there are days now and again.
It helps like hell with writing papers etc.

How??? When I sleep 4 hours for a few days in a row I feel like a zombie. It cant'be good for your health sleeping that short. I need at least 6 hours to feel good, but when I get the chance I sleep for 9/10 hours.

average 5-6 hours a day.... the most i can honestly sleep is like 8 and thats only when i get absolutely fucked up the night before.
i often do like 1-2 nights a week without sleep and like acc said their kinda fun/exiting to do!!
aphedra/aderol and caffein all help the next day.... aphedra is tghe only thing i use if i plan on going to the gym the day after an all nighter.
