From my experience working for a company that did beta testing, its a somewhat random process based on computer spec's. What they look to do is get as many different combinations of computers together and test them out, to see if there will be conflicts. For the most part they won't read the info you put in..
If that were the case, I can't even name all the beta's I've been involved with. |

All the names I came up with were mens names. Seems to me that the old superstition that women are bad luck on a ship are true.
