Specifically you're under the employ of the CRW
(Counter Revolutionary Warfare) wing of the
British Special Air Service (SAS). You'd better
have nerves of steel to survive The Regiment,
because it is much more than just a game - what
lies ahead is a tense, accurate simulation of
close quarters combat, based on briefings and
scenarios supplied by SAS veterans.
Scenarios in The Regiment challenge you to lead
four-man teams in assaults on terrorist
strongholds, rescue hostages held at gunpoint,
recreate the deadly climax to the Iranian
Embassy Siege of 1980 or fight battles in
Britain's corridors of power in a daring rescue
at the Houses of Parliament.
Gameplay is action-oriented from insertion to
extraction. There's no need for mission
planning; once the SAS gets deployed,
negotiations are over! The single player
campaigns are based on a variety of historical
and fictional scenarios, including a recreation
of the Iranian Embassy Siege of 1980.
A real-time ordering system lets you take
command of an SAS assault squad and guide them
through brutal close quarter battles in
missions to save hostages.
In-depth training modes allow you to train in
the world famous SAS 'Killing House', learning
room clearance skills and perfect the dark art
of 'double tapping'. In multiplayer team
training players can hone their skills for the
whole team before going online and challenging
others.
************** INSTRUCTIONS FOR PLAYING *************
1.If you want to mount image,use Alcohol or
latest Daemon Tools 4 and use CureRom tool
or any other Securom7 antiblacklist tool
in order to correctly play this game.
2.If you want, you may even burn this game
opening Alcohol and writing image selecting
RMPS option before writing.
3.Then, simply enable all emulation options
in Alcohol and user Pr0t.Stop tool to
fix any blacklisting issues due to Securom
protection.
4. Enjoy this game.
FuRTHeR HiNTS
FoR CoMMoN PRoBLeMS
When using CureRom be sure to use 1.30 version
and to enable curerom antiblacklisting measure
for playing.
You should need to disable any optical ide
devices for bypassing securom protection check
or any blacklisting issues.
Burning image and using Prot.Stop is better
than mounting image (less securom issues).

is this game like Rainbow Six or Swat 4 where control more than one player at once, or is it like Brother in Arms where you COMMAND a squad...or is it single player like doom3 type?

Hmmm there is already a patch out.
The Regiment Patch [16/02/06] - 13 Mb Patch available for The Regiment. This patch contains various bug fixes and optimizations.

I want to get this game today, but please tell me how is the graphics, how is story and is it worthy since I am currently playing Rainbow Six Lockdown and am very happy with. I dont want this game if is same as Lockdown, so please let me know what is gameplay like, since I am interesting getting this game only if it is fast paced pure FPS !!! Also, let me know how is optimization!!! Thanks in advance!

Ugly graphics. Ugly gameplay. It feels like a low budget activision game or Jowood. Terrible game trying to cash in on Raven Shield and Swat 4 and does it piss poor.
