Same here...went to update XP and he updated the genuine crap first and i cant deactivate it but the Trixie script works fine

To bypass open internet explorer, add a website to favorites then edit the address to javascript:void(window.g_sDisableWGACheck='all');void(alert('WGA Check disabled.\n\nContinue...')) then click that favorite page before clicking custom or express buttons.

Works perfectly.
Takes about 10 seconds.
Doesn't require me to download anything, or use any hack. Hence, 0% chance of virus.

ones disabled it completly renders the addon useless
leave it enabled,turn on auto update if required and update fixes

Same here :S
To disable wga 1.5.512.0 via cracked dll you have to install it first. But it says failed every fooking time.
Deleted dlls, registry keys (manually) and no luck.
I used 1.4.410.0 dll before.
Pls some1 point me to the right direction.
Java-script-bookmark doesn't seem to work for me.
PS.
I prefer to use cracked dll. |

A Working KB892130 Install Fails Solution!

Download http://www.sysinternals.com/Files/PsExec.zip and extrace it.
It will create a folder named PsExec.
Cut & paste psexec.exe from within the created PsExec folder to C:\ then follow the directions below.
Download the WGA KB892130 update executable from here:
http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdo...982dcea49a0.exe and save it to c:\temp\ then rename it "a.exe" (without the quotes)(just to cut down on typing later).
Open a DOS window (Start>Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt).
From a C:\> prompt (If not there, keep typing CD..(ENTER) until only a C:\> prompt is displayed).
Type "psexec -i -s c:\temp\a.exe" (without the quotes). Let it run and then a "Software Update Installation Wizard" window will appear.
Click "Next" and it will install the new Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool.
You should now be able to run Windows update again. If you have... lets just say a less than legit copy of Windows, apply the cracked LegitCheckControl.dll to get more than just the security updates. |

Anyone run windows update recently and it installs new genuine advantage, and now when you restart you computer, and also in the task manager there is a pop-up that says you may be a victim of software counterfeiting...

I just found "WGAFixer v2 1.5.530.0" when browsing the torrent sites. It claimed to stop the WGA pop ups and allow you to download again. I didn't have my hopes up to high considering torrent postings are starting to look more like Kazza search results when searching for porn or warez. So I read all the comments and people said it worked, and it seemed safe to me.
I never got the WGA pop-ups or any of that crap, I figure thats because I don't select automatic, I select manual.
I ran the WGAFixer v2 1.5.530.0.exe and instantly I was able to use Windows Update fully! No restart or anything. It was very very easy and very fast. You dont have to go into the registry or replace system files, just double click the exe, awesome. Also, you shouldn't have much trouble being able to find the fix, just do a search for Windows Genuine at one of the more popular Torrent Sites.
It also gets rid of the pop-ups and all that annoying stuff, I didn't witness that since I never had pop-ups, but I assume it stops the pop-ups if it allows you to use Update. (When did microsoft start releasing pesky spyware popups?)
Anyways, I just wanted to let you guys know there IS a fix out for the newest Windows Genuine Security, AND IT WORKS! It stops the pop-ups, and allows you to download from Windows Update again. So as of now, May 26th 2006..... it works. Let's hope Microsoft doesn't update it again anytime soon.
And if you are reading this in a month and they have updated the WGA, then almost certainly any fixes that were made before that update will not work anymore. So don't get frustrated and think the fix doesn't work ,because you are probabley using an outdated fix.

Wow, Microsoft is going to "help" us!?!? I naturally assume the "help" will come in the form of cash or check? Right?
Wait what??? Your helping us by taking advantage of the people's trust in your software and company name, and using that trust to install virus like pop-up adware through automatic updates?? Adware that cannot be removed unless the user sends you a certain amount of money??!!

Microsoft already has a new Windows Genuine Update.
The latest Latest Version: 1.5.532.0 was released on 30th May 2006, before that, 1.5.530.0 was released on 23rd May 2006.
So if you downloaded the WGAFixer v2 1.5.530.0 crack it will no longer work with the latest version.
But don't worry!!! There is already a crack for 1.5.532.0!

They have links to the crack and info on how to use it correctly. It seems Microsoft is really starting to update the Windows Genuine Security a lot, so if you find update not working just search the web, or check out the site I listed to see if there is a crack out for the latest version.
Pretty awesome though, Microsoft released and update on May 30th, and on May 31st there was a crack anyone could download!

well, if you have a genuine acting os with legitcheckcontrol.dll 1.5.532 everythi,g should work 100% (office and windows update)
it works for me!
