I just realized that when wanting to burn images of some nice game releases, the disk isn't getting finalized anymore.
Does this have something to do with the protection? Or the rls groups just forgetting this?
Or can one just choose himself to 'finalize' or not?
Never tried finalizing it myself if the iso file doesn't check it by default.
Anyone can clear this up for me?

Not sure what you mean with doing the 'final' writing.
But in Nero for example you got this checkox in the BURN tab called: Finalize CD (No further writing possible!)
On some images, and usually it's older images, this checkbox is selected by default from the .iso setting.
But lately it seems that either the groups are forgetting to check this in the .iso settings, or it is needed to make the game work. Dunno ...
So that's why i'm wondering.
