LeechFTP is old as fuck - it was good in it's time but last time I tried it it wouldn't even work. I heard the authors went to write some app called 'BitBeamer' but I don't think anything came of it.

Bulletproof FTP just because the publisher tries sooo hard to make it crack proof.

I have to agree FlashFXP is the best ftp client.. but everyone has their own preferences... so your best best is to try the varous ftp clients mention by users here and see which one suits you... Good luck..

I see where flashfxp could be improved, but it's probably the definitive best atm.

I really like Serv-U for a server. Only issue I've run into with it was that the send and recieve buffers were preset kinda high (for my slow ul connection) causing fluctuation in speeds to some clients. Changed the buffers to 16384 and is nice and steady.

jo the last months i used FTPRUSH (former ULTRAFXP) and WINDOWS....aeh TOTALCOMMANDER.

the good old FLASHFXP had to go, FTPRUSH has exactly the same features plus more -> a good thingy is the container, ya do not have to open a new instance for a new session, all in 1 window.

the TOTALCOMMANDER is a great tool for on the fly downloads or smaller pieces, it can handle ftp/fxp but does not handle resume or scripting-stuff.

so if ya can find a stable version of FTPRUSH give it a try - many versions are badly cracked (Accessviolation), i am using v1.0.0507 and this one is almost ok.

@razor1394 : what build of FTPRUSH u are using ? would be interesting to me.

I'm using the 1.0.0521 build. There are already two newer builds but that one was the latest which was cracked. BTW, I use Xplorer2 instead of the inbuilt explorer.

There are also:

FTPRush.1.0.RC6.Build.561.ANSi.WinALL.CRACKED-PARANOiA
FTPRush.1.0.RC6.Build.561.Unicode.WinALL.CRACKED-PARANOiA
FTPRush.v1.0.561.RC6.Unicode.ANSi.CRACK_FIX.READ.NFO-PARANOiA

I guess I totally missed the 521 release...

FTPRush.v1.0.0.0521.RC5.READNFO-MRRUSH

But that doesn't matter now Razz .

BTW, here's the changelog: http://www.ftprush.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=21&hl=unicode

Damn, it was about time! I was getting frustrated!

FTPRush.1.0.RC6.Build.561.WinALL.WORKING.REPACK-PARANOiA

Quote:

iNSTALL nOTES: ¦
¦ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ¦
¦ 1.) Install Unicode/ANSI version of FTPRush ¦
¦ 2.) Rename original FTPRush.exe to _FtpRush.exe ¦
¦ 3.) Put the included loader (in crack.rar) inside your ¦
¦ FtpRush directory ¦
¦ 4.) Run the program through the loader. Enjoy! ¦
¦ ¦
¦ *Repack Notes: ¦
¦ Sorry for the fuckup, here is the original loader ¦
¦ we've included in our previous release of this app. ¦
¦ Instructions were not correct, now if you follow these ¦
¦ instructions you won't have any problems Smile Enjoy! ¦
¦ ¦
¦ btw this works for both Unicode and ANSI versions. ¦

edit

I can confirm that it works, at least on one of my comps.

I am using FlashFXP for three years, before that I was using LeechFTP (and yes it is true that it can hardly connect todays scripted ftp servers, or even not). But I really wonder about FTPRush after I have read replies, gonna give it a chance Wink

Cant copy URL's into a new window using FTPRush.1.0.RC6.Build.561.

It allows me to monitor clipboard fine with first window, but when opening a new tab- monitor clipboard does not work....Any advise??
*nevermind--if i close the app- and reopen-clipboard then works..nice app..less memory hog then 5 flashfxps...
