I'm sick of this fucking flu hysteria, some bird ends up in one part of Sweden, and now the entire country starts acting as if every bird and every cat is infected. I even heard of some people attacking and kicking a cat, because they thought it would be infected.
A local newspaper (nerikes) reported that "now is a good time to forbid cats from running around free" - and wanted to create a debate over that, and of course, every cat hater jumped on that train like as if they served free food on it.
It's when things like these happen, I really fucking hate humans, and humankind. We call ourselves civilised, but can't fucking put simple things in their right proportions when we read headlines and get frightened.
Stupid fucking idiots.
Someone approached me today, when I released my cat and asked: "Aren't you afraid that it will get infected".
I tried to inform the person that it was as likely to be infected as one week ago, but as soon as people read something in the news papers, it goes: "BOOM!", "OMG!!1111one".
Can't fucking explain how frustrated I am with this idiotic hysteria.
Yes, yes I'm back.

People need to beware of what ( might ) happen.

Just in case what? There is a pandemic and everyone gets infected?
How is food going to help then? You realise that anyone who gets infected becomes like a zombie and they'll all begin clawing at your house and smashing the windows to get at your flesh. There is no escape!

Read up on it, people might need to stay at home for 3 months. And also utilities will shut down when more people are infected. SO more food and water the better.
I watched a special on it. Very interesting.

I think you're overreacting, but fair enough if you want to be prepared. I don't see how you could possibly store enough water for 3 months in your house though. You'd have to venture out of your house to get it from somewhere.
Also, if that really became the case, wouldn't the government supply food and water? If they didn't then people would likely start looting and everything would turn to shit.

Yes We all should be concerned, but there are tons of more lethal diseases out there right now to "worry" about, this fucking shit has been circulating in china for like 90 years, and remember china Is a country with like what? TO MANY people in to little space, some people live with their animals there..day out and day in, and this shit hasnt mutated yet. 90(!) person or so have died from this, and they have likely been eating with dirty fingers after playing with dead/sick birds and shit, poor people in countries without our kind of medical systems.
SARS was the last shit smacking in, everybody went apeshit and screaming "this is the end of the world" and stuff. Just don´t play with dead birds and play with your cats shit If its been eating WILD BIG birds, remember SMALL birds don´t get infected by this, Its only those bigger birds that get it, Don´t play with big birds, dont eat raw bird, don´t eat bird crap and YOU will die from something else like cancer.. yes, cancer. Worry about that.
Ive been making a check list for all you hysterical people.
Don´t eat bird crap. [ ] (If you like to)
Don´t play with dead birds [ ] (the big ones)
Don´t eat RAW bird [ ] (its not sushi)
Don´t eat your cats shit [ ] (If you suspect its been eating BIG birds)
Don´t eat food with dirty fingers [ ]

IF you have been In contact with a (dead/sick) bird, or its shit. Just wash those parts thats been in contact with the bird, and you will live one day longer. And everybody can be happy and go on with their lifes
