A lot of PC gamers have joined together, and decided not to purchase any PC games that use the Starforce copy protection method. This site is here to provide information about the Starforce protection method, so that you can make your own informed decision.
I will provide a list of games that install the Starforce device drivers, as well as a list of publishers that incorporate Starforce. If you wish to join this boycott, we encourage you to write the publisher, or post on their forum, and let them know.

old. some people here started boycottign it long time ago. as far as i know ubisoft is well aware of its customers anger and they can't safely say they'll stay with starforce, specialy after the recent financial/sales reports that registered really bad sales in the pc section for ubi, despite -or 'cause- the use of starforce

I bought SF3 game once, what a dumbass I was. Spend 10 fucking dollars. Yesterday I found how to play my other favorite game for free online.

That page is complete bullshit anti-starforce propaganda by some annoyed p2p kiddies. Its not a security risk to your system in any way for a start, to suggest so is retarded. Then theres physically breaking drives, with no proof of course other than pseudo situations they cite. Maybe if they had some reputable source as to any of this, but no.
Stop jumping on the starforce hate bandwagon because you cant copy games easily, and do your own research instead just assuming every idiot who puts shit on a blog is correct at all. Maybe some other intelligent people who actually know about protection will confirm this as well, i did see some knowledgable posts on the inner workings of protections around here.

Well I tell you what Square Enix they could keep milking my wallet I have nothing to complain about them they gave me 100+ gaming hours and story makes me cry like little bitch, remember RPG is not for everyone is not my fault you dont like Final Fantasy, and same is not everone fault didn't choose "Prince of Persia The Two Thrones" for damn sure I have nothing against the game just didn't want it, I should have edit my post about boygottin it because of starforce, there were other reason beside that even if I explain it to you, you just going to wipe your ass with my words and flush it so why bother right? lol
you're right about starforce not going away but won't always be uncrackable some day someone going crack it, or maybe never...

They offer Starforce cleaner because there are idiots who spread rumors about how dangerous Starforce is. Many people actually believe these rumors or they just dont want to take risk because they dont know if its true or not. This tool was developed for those people so they could feel safe (they are safe anyway of course)

mybe if we all ( about 20k ) people went to there forums and made fake problems... or mass emailed EA games or ubi soft or some other game company and told them how SF fucked our PC and that we are never going to buy games from there company for this reason ^^
