You may have read about the latest Action game called Hatred which spawned rather a lot of controversy, but there's another game which could push the boundaries of sickening and that is "The Dark Inside Me"; a new Adventure from horror movie director Akçay Karaazmak.
The feature summary looks nice, reminds me a bit about Sanitarium.
(Although thinking more about it the only thing both have in common is that they are adventure games with a dude having a bandaged head... )
(But Sanitarium also had a number of mature themes and a somewhat twisted semi-horror storyline.)
Yeah IndieGoGo doesn't have the same exposure as Kickstarter and I guess the adventure game genre is in a bit of a decline as well compared to a few years back.
(But there's still a couple of nice releases every year. )

I certainly want to play this, and i hope it's fucked up. Tired of weak American trash which is too mindful about not being too scary. Either that or just terrible.

Indiegogo is utter pants, I've seen so many fail on Indiegogo and succeed on Kickstarter
i dont know if he studied tv/movie(or whatever) in turkey, but turkish horror movies are a joke. He seems to be a new director so i'm pretty doubtful about the story.

His debut film Reminiscence is quite good for a horror film.
The game looks like a blend of Heavy Rain and Pathologic with a Telltale game structure. I'm interested.
2 names characters, including the director...
lel!
I don't get your point. We're talking about a low budget debut horror film. I see you're from Canada. You've got hundreds of low budget indie films there every year (many of them are exceptional) and they have the same limited cast.
It's as if most of you get bumped into adventure point-n-click games for the first time. Grim Fandango, for example, looks like a weary and painful drag of an adventure game to me, but since I haven't played it, I can't say anything more than that. I bet its high praise isn't for the gameplay mechanics or its looks but rather its story and characters.
As for this game - the two most important aspects for these kinds of games might prove being satisfactory and interesting - the puzzles/challenges and story. At this stage, however, nothing can precisely be said about these two. But since I see the gripping atmosphere is there, and the setting is also there, I'll be keeping my eye on this one.

Hahaha! I guess we know who else has bumped into adventure point'n'click games for the first time
