Just another fifa game..........
Only good is presentation of the matches.
All other same as fifa 06 and i can say that has not good fps (probably not optimized yet so good)

I still have no idea why faces in NHL series look great but in FIFA they're totally unrecognizable.
Gameplay still identical to FIFA 06, what's with goalies with short sleeves shirts?????
Doesn't EA ever watch football match for a change?

Nah EA isnt to high on the soccer series of games nowdays, I still think the older FIFA games (98 to 2001) kicks more ass than 06 to this day.

this demo got multiplayer support?
edit: fuck i'm blind... The demo clocks in at 344MB and lets you play England, USA, Mexico or Germany in the first half of a single player match .
not even worth it for the first half either!

There is always unlockers.
This game on the PC has shitty graphics though, worse than PES. The screenshots on the internet look nice but it's totally shit on the PC even when cranked onto high.
The gameplay is better than previous though, relatively speaking, and it was quite fun to be honest. Not a patch on PES still of course but fun.

same can be said about PES
for me there is no no1 soccer game that has ever been made yet. Maybe another company should make one with the fifa gloss and presentation with the PES gameplay.
Then that would be perfect.

Please tell me, why is this so much differnt to the xbox360 version? The xbox360 version is much better gfx wise and any pc will be able to handle it.

Textures in all FIFAs, even in the 360 version are awful, it's the lack of post processing and special effects and general gloss - it's non-existant in the PC version.

use one of the demo expanders available on the net. Then you can change some options, like the resolution. If you do that the game will look much better. But i must admit, the gameplay sux. It is and stays the same old FIFA.....too bad.

Even with the demo expander it's the same shitty graphics.
The gameplay is improved however. I hate FIFA, and I've had many a heated arguement about it on here with FIFA fanboys... but you can't deny improvement where this some and there is definately a more cleaner version of the gameplay which was severely lacking from previous modern titles. |

You mean with actual names and teams?
For a start there's so much more you can do on PES. The graphics are better, it runs smoother and is more of a challenge even on single player. On two player it's hella fun, but then again most footy games are especially this is football 2 (on 4 player) since you can dive and either get yellow carded / sent off or win a free kick /pnealty in the 92nd minute to win the match. Bastardising of the highest degree  |
