well the thing is like that i run the game i see the balck loadding screen and then an error shows up saying "unable to lunch direct sound . a compatible card or driver was not detected"
i updated my sound driver .
i updated the drectX drivers .
and all the other games movies (every thing) works fine exsept this one .
my sound card is soundmax on board card ( motherboard Asus P4S800D-X ).

what sould i do ? HELP ME !!! Crying or Very sad

Are there any EAX options ticked or similar? Atleast it fails to detect the soundcard or its drivers... Check settings and set them as low as possible to begin with.

no EAX and all the other setting are defult windows selection

Do you have ZoneAlarm running?
Try to remove the game from the application list in ZoneAlarm and tell me if it worked.

run dxdiag and make sure you've got audio acceleration on (the slider)
preferrably at full
run sound tests provided in dxdiag
sacrifice a virgin to chtulhu

s_hole yes dx shows that every thing is cool all tests are done and full acc is on Very Happy but the game still doesnt start Sad
