I'm about to do a "format c:" and ETH0 has released som new versions of Windows XP with hotfixes included.

Like the latest one: Microsoft.Windows.XP.Professional.Corporate.SP2.Integrated.April.2006.MULTI.IMAGE-ETH0

Now has anyone tried this new version? Are there any bugs with this "homemade" iso-files? And so on...

It looks really good, but plz throw in your experiences...

It's not that hard to integrate the fixes yourself.
Never had a problem with them. Can't comment on the one you mention though.

Speaking of..can anyone recommend an XP release that has SP2 integrated? I had ETH0's but that apparently was a BETA. Neutral

I swear to god, I got it from a good source, release name written & packed properly but when installing it appears to be a beta.

I use the ethO one, swedish release with integrated SP2 and its not beta. Also using the updatefix from them works great.

realy want this but cant be arsed reinstalling everything... Damn Im still running the Standard Windows XP from when it first came out (Havent updated anything yet... maybe I should) Razz Is it possible to just Install SP2 without formatting everything??
