there are two very old games i used to play hours days and weeks, and i am talking about:
MEGARACE 2 and INTERSTATE 76 (interstate 82 also)

since that old good days, i never found game that will bring the feeling of adrenaline like in megarace 2...also the graphic was amazing for its days...even today some games looking less good and we are talking about game from 1996.
interstate was more mission bassed game with alot of fights (car vs car) in the usa roads, i know that crash day , tried to do some combat racing inside, but it wasn't so exiting some how:(...anyone can recomand on fast racer with weapons and nice gfx?
*btw - megarace2 gave you the chance to earn money and buy new weapons like mines and rockets and machine guns..was great game with great music also..i still have the original, but its dos based game...not working that good on xp.

Well, dont know if they're as fast, but there's always Bandits: Phoenix Rising and Hard Truck Apocalypse. Neither of them are that good, but they've got a post apocalypse look, and there's cars with guns.
If you could consider a mmo, there's always auto assault. Rubbish at first, but it gets better..
Not much racing in them tho..

i think i'll check Bandits: Phoenix Rising and also Redline.
looks like i missed this Bandits: Phoenix Rising , cause i can't remeber this one...released in 2003?
that was cool year for games:)

lol..i was just checking this one..i downloaded back then a demo and it was so hard to drive..the machine gun with the red bullets looked nice ' but the driving was too hard...anyway..i will try to get this one..abit hard to find ' but i'll see what i can do to get it.

Crashday looks like shit man, then you are better off playing a quality game like Carmageddon.

i've never played games of this kind, but i'm so bored that i'm downloading Ex machina: Meridian 113 , i guess it's a sequel to the hard truck apocalypse game mentioned above http://www.nival.com/exmm_ru/art/

Carmageddon 2. Not exactly your classical definition of car combat, but that game beats every other car combat game out there. And it has one of the most advanced physics engines for cars and damage that I've seen even now 8 years or so after release. Carma 3 is bullshit though.

i have good computer p4 2hz 512mb geforce fx5200
i play doom 3 now maybe buy half life 2 soon
