Man i miss fallout , instant classic... im sure there's nothing that matches it but are there any games that are based on some aspects of fallout ? anything ??
im downloading now jagged alliance 2 heard its the same , anything else ?

Bethesda has the licence for it and they said some thing that they will relese it after Oblivion so lets hope they will not waste it and make the next Duke Nukem or Stalker  |

There is that Huxley game coming out. It's a FPS that is online like a MMORPG that you pay monthly for(bullshit). It takes place in a post-nuclear apocalypse world ala Fallout.

if it's mmorpg neocron comes to mind, if it's crpg then that russian game that got released some time ago, can't remember it's name. And "The Fall" which you should really look forward to as it's most like the old fallouts, but it won't get released until late may

Im ashamed i've never played any fallout, but I was HOOKED on all Jagged Alliance games... Guess it's too late to give them a try now.

I never really like JA. All this team stuff was too much for me. Coordinating like 5 people on a map - just too much for me. i liked the one man way fallout was designed (yeah, i know there were companions), fallout always reminds me of mad max. well it's pretty sure inspired by it.

don't get me wrong, i like rap, i don't have any prejudices against black people, but wasn't The Game a crack pusher b4 he got famous for rap?

Off topic, but i'll bite regardless. It's all in your head, thats how you want people to react and thats just how they react, because you want them to.

I'm hopeing to hear something about Fallout 3 at E3 this year. I've loved these types of RPGs since I played Wasteland on my Apple IIc.

its never to late mate. i still play fallout 2 from time to time. (last year was the last time) the only thing that bugs me is the forced resulotion on 640x480. game would kick ass if it hade atleast 1024x768. oh well

Arcanum, i enjoyed it just as much as FO, it uses the same engine. It has a very cool and original "steam punk" setting. There are some mods that makes it even better.

played abit of JA2 today , like 20 mins ... kinda dull ... i though u can create your own char and the char development isnt as deep as fallout's perks and traits system , best char dev system ever made i tell u ..

The falls developers are dead set on supporting star-force. The game looks like its going to be good, but they won't be getting any financial support from me.

Its good to see them change their tune. When I last visited the forums probably 2 months ago they were adament that it would be starforce, I left in disgust.

first off The game was/is a crack pushing thug wanna be who inspires alot of little kids to go in his footsteps, i hope he dies inthe very near future...
secondly, am i the ONLY person who played and LOVED fallout tactics??? fallout 2 was great, but i prefer the fighting style of tactics much better.

Fallout is a classic. Everyone should play it (on a 14" monitor for the real vintage feeling)
and btw. it helps alot listening to different kinds of music, maybe grabbing a guitar or a pair of bongos, to get rid of this stupid invasion of "so called" hiphop or rnb/soul :roll:or Indie music.
which is just generic bullshit!

Tactics' combat was great, I wish all the first two games allowed full control over party actions like it did. Replaying FO1 is painful after you've played through FOT:BOS, the AI of your friends is just awful. Unfortunately it didn't have the story behind it like FO1 and 2.
