I burnt a movie image onto a Verbatim DVD+RW with my PC DVD burner. It works in my Sony DVD Player but when I put it in my Panasonic DVD Recorder it asks me to format the disc. Why does it work in one machine and not the other? I don't think it's the media because the Panasonic DVD recorder records to the Verbatim DVD+RW discs with no problems. But who knows maybe it has trouble reading Verbatim discs recorded on another burner? Maybe I need to format the disc in my Panasonic drive then burn the movie to the same disc on my computer? I would love if someone helped me here. Thanks.

Well try to burn the same job again, extract the video_ts & Audio TS (if you mean dvd image) and let the burning application structure the dvd itself (though they might fuck it up)

and Eliz a movie image could also be a VCD image or a SVCD image.

Some discs just aren't compatible with some standalone DVDs players Wink
