Release Notes:
Desperados 2 is the sequel of the successful wild west title ôDesperados
û Wanted Dead or Aliveö. The gameplay is based on its predecessor but
with brand new tactical possibilities in a beautiful 3D environment. The
player is able to switch from an isometric view to a third person view
whenever he wants, for example for duels, brawls and shoot-outs. There
will be a great variety of setting for example dusty canyons, ghost
towns, Indian villages and forts creating a breathtaking atmosphere.
Take on the role of up to 6 heroes including the famous bounty hunter
John Cooper and experience in a thrilling story with surprising turns.

I liked the previous Desperados. I hope this one as good as the first, even though I have doubts cause we all know how sometimes games that go from 2d to 3d turn out.

becoz they made Driv3r the most expensive crap i have ever seen

how much CDs are there 3 - 6 ?
and did ever anyone wonder that Europe gets the hardest crap to crack and the US the easiest

Seems your from germany. The sellrates outside us, fr and de for console games are great like 7 times more then in these 3 countries because there arent much modded consoles in other countries.
And if you remember right:
Developers left Amiga because the bad sellrates as protections like Rob Norton's v3 got done. Do you like the idea of only 10 pc games a year from EA and MS? All other big publishers are in troubles and some Atari/Koch Media/Ubisoft Europe having real troubles paying the developer teams.
You are right with: You save money as there wont be much buyable in 1 or 2 years if the cracking times still stay that fast.
To be honest, i hope RLD doesnt touch because DVD is out and has TAGES and RLD prooved they can crack TAGES fast (Act of War Addon from Atari) and didnt release Desperados 2 from Atari. The hope should never end as i would like to see games like
Desperados 3, Fahrenheit 2, Act of War 2 ... from Atari. |
to add more info to release a crack for this version of TAGES you must first finish this game to get the needed data to crack it - so thats why this crack takes that long , nothing isn`t imposibile this days to crack |

I'm not from germany and a couple of days ago there was an article on internet which listed the total sells for both console and pc
Console was about 25million, pc 13 million, don't know the exact ratings but 13 millions copies of pc games sold with only a few titles is pretty nice
There are a lot more console games, more people with a console then with a game pc and the xbox360 just got released which saved the console sells alot
If they only dropped the price it would sell alot more, but no...50 bucks :S WAY TOO MUCH

I always download a game before I buy it... I've burned my hands too many times, to take that risk again... The longer time it takes to crack a game, the longer time it takes before I buy the game

But demoes rarely show what the game actually has to offer. All demoes shows some of the game, then tells the player, that the full version is so much better and has so much more stuff to offer... but when you get the full version, you find out that the demo was half of the game
And for some reason you can't rely on that a game will run, just because of the demo runs. My brother downloaded the Civ IV demo, when it got released. It ran fine, no problems at all, but when he got the full version he had a lot of trouble getting it running (had to wait for the 1.52 patch)
And often they don't send out a demo...

Nevertheless my little cousin is asking for it too and he would have problems with the english version. Regarding myself I rather play games in english too, especially when they were developed abroad. When it comes to german games like gothic for example i prefer playing them in my native language. Unfortunately the most english titles released here are dubbed awfully and it's a pain in the ass to play the german versions.
. The Clone is hurting alot already. Visit Desperados 2 Forums. Developers are already very angry since today clone listed in torrent servers
