Downloaded, installed, copied crack ,booting game but when I press the "Play Now" button, I get an error sound and crash to desktop. Any suggestions?

Try updating your DirectX to the lastest version (April 2006).

Eh... ok. Either that, or you are stupid. It was a serious question. Is this a game you get alot stuck in. Are the puzzles hard. Do you get any hint. Did i define my question better now?

Yea had the same problems, I just finished the first level and I didn't read the book, but I'll write the story in short form (so far)
 Spoiler: | Landon has a meeting with the curator of Le Louvre. When he gets there he sees lots of cops and officer, Fache, takes him to the body. There you get control of your charactor, Landon. You look at the body,find some clues, when a young French cryptologist named Sophie Neveu enters the hallway. She was called because Landon found a hidden anagram. This is the first puzzle. Then Sophie tells him to call a number. He calls it and hears Sophie say something "you are in great danger,get to the toilets"...
This is not the end of the first chapter but I'm too lazy to keep on writing

People whom have read the book could look and tell us if it resembles the book

Crashes here too after clicking Start Game. But why does everyone start blaming game for being buggy all of sudden, don't you think that it's crack that could be bad?

This suck...cant find why the game crash to desktop everytime. Updated DX aswell as my GFX drivers and nothing is working.
