Brent Fisher, All Whites striker, faces possible jail term after being nearly 7 times over legal drink drive limit in Sweden

All Whites striker Brent Fisher is facing a possible jail term after being caught drink driving in Sweden. He was nearly seven times over the legal limit.
Norrbottens-Kuriren sports editor Ludde Wastfelt says the police picked up Fisher nearly three weeks ago, but it has taken time for the blood test results to be completed.
The drink driving laws in Sweden are strict and the lower legal limit is 20 milligrams of blood alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.
Mr Wastfelt says the maximum penalty is two years in prison, but the District Attorney has indicated that while a month's jail term is possible, the player is more likely to be sentenced to community service. He says Fisher has already apologised for his actions and his team Bodens BK is standing by him.
Strict? Goddamn, drinking and driving has that ever been a good combination? Nope. IMO it should be more strict. Warn everyone driving after drinking. Less people would die that way... And "apologised for his actions" ain't no fucking good. Give him some time in jail.
