Max payne 3 has been confirmed by Take-Two.

Hey it could work. Look at this mod for HL called The Specialist. It's like The Matrix and works well.

yup the specialist mod would be really cool as multiplayer on mp3. its lag free works good with bullet times and the rest. i hope max payne relies on bullet time more. its too easy i thought.

god no, not longer! anything but that.

The game was so damn repetitive and boring the more you played it, especially after having gone through the same experience with the original Max Payne.

Sure, more of the same is fine by me - but it needs something more than merely bullet-time to grab my attention, certainly more varied gameplay and new moves (etc...)

come on, something different and exciting as opposed to retreading the same ground once again.

Indeed. The first was awesome but the second could have been better. I hope we see something new in MP3. The first was worth the buy. The second, ot so much.

Some sort of melee combat would be cool, like disarming and stuff.

I know that might sound similar to enter the matrix, but with the polish that was applied to the first two games that would make it excellent.

They should make a third one and it would be the last one. Make it a trilogy. I would also like to Max die at the end of the 3rd one. It would give it a good ending to the series (yes I'm one of those people who don't like happy endings).

I don't mind Payne dying. I would love to see some grand theft auto elements in the game. Not just some noir tale. First Payne was with a man 30 something. Second Payne he's older, much older. Third Payne he would have a cane and still dodge bullets? No no no no! A third Payne should be like true crime only refined game play, with a lot more put in. Longer game play + extra features. With out the driving part just have 8 minute game rendered cinematics as Payne drives to a location. And in these cinematics some great chases, gun shoot outs and story development. But hey why make it Payne? Why not create your own cop? Why not add them attributes, add an extra option to the menu where you can expand your characters physique, adding gun movements and many extra things? Why those things have to happen during the game, go to the kung fu joint, learn some moves? WHY!

Why not when you’re bored expand on your techniques without the hassle of driving places. Simply select training in the menu and there you go. Working on a super cop Razz But it would be great if it were a trilogy. And have Payne uncover some deep secret that when he came home that night he was pumped up fool of narcotics and he believed his son was murdered along with his wife. He went out all hard core on them mob bosses because he thought they killed his family. Why not have that bite him on his ass. Why not have it that max Payne is put under arrest for the murder of the cities high rollers. So instead of being this all good cop we all knew he turns up being a slime ball with the thirst for blood? And in the end after max Payne goes through it all he is put on the electrical chair and who does he see sitting in the front row? Non other than his wife holding his 12 year old son by his hands. Hows that for an eye opener.

And as he dies you have his voice over go “this isn’t happening, this isn’t happening” And then we are put back in the first level as it really happened. Max Payne enters the house. His wife is having company in bed. Max Payne flips out takes out a gun and shoots the man sleeping with his wife. He looks at his wife and shoots her in the stomach leaving her to die. He runs out and sees that his son is in his cradle. He looks at him passionately and then his partner comes into the room saying “max max I heard gun shots” max looks at him and fires the gun. Runs out waking up next morning surrounded by needles and various bottles of alcohol with a vague memory of what happened. He comes back home finding it ran sacked by police and he finds out his wife is dead (said by the chief as a lie. His was with his son were moved to safe house out side of town Razz). The man she was ‘sleeping’ with turned out to be a low guy for the big guy so he went after the big guy. 12 + years later he was sentenced for execution after the evidence was reviled to the prosecuting officer. Max, fry? I HOPE SO!

A lot of blabbing went on in this episode. Let’s hope that you kids can understand what I just wrote. Cause sure as hell I can’t Razz I love alcohol it’s like a best friend that I never had.

Max Payne was great (and unexpected). Max Payne 2 was great (although expected). Can't wait for the third installment. I don't want to see major changes, it could just be a little longer and maybe a couple of gameplay additions. I like the suggestion about adding combat like in Enter The Matrix. Can't wait to play Max Payne 3!!!!!

I think it gonna be crap.Cause, they don't really have something to do.The story line was good at the othe 2, but I don't think they gonna come up with something again.And of course, all the slow motion shit..we already been there and done that.Nothing can suprise us now, we've seen it all.
I don't really have hopes for this game, since it would be a copy of 1 or 2...nothing new.

The first one will always be remembered for its engrossing stroyline and the bullet time feature, second one was more of the same but the auto recharge of bullet time made the game too easy and it was too short. In the third i hope they include more funny moments like when gognitti gets dressed in the chicken outfit, and i wanna see more moves ffs, would it hurt to incorporate some bone breaking/choke moves within the game? when in melee mode? and can Max get some real HIGH tech weaponary? prototype lazer rifle,phase cannon ect.

He has dealt with the Italian Mob and the Russian mafia + slightly the Yakuza but lets hope they get to ship Max to some worldwide locations like Hong Kong where he has to do some police work on the streets and Egypt ect i would love to see city scapes though it probably wont happen. Mind missions i hope they include less of these as in the first one where you have to follow a trail and jump/walk carefully as if you fall off your dead and lost in your own mind.

I have to admit i wish they hadnt killed off mona, she would have been quite complimentary to max and his style of taking care of the bad guys, maybe they can include some sex scenes too, as the one in the second one was LAME i wanted to see mona's bush! Very Happy

I still love the first one 'cause of the story. The second one was more of the same , except short (finished it in one night).

In the third part I expect :
-more moves ( as in the Kungfu mod for MP 1)
-Max Payne dies at the end (idd a very good idea Wink)
-Multiplayer
-gameplay that is three à four times as long as MP2
-No more of those "dreams"

Dreams were what drove max to these situations. If not for the dreams you wouldn't know what happened to his wife. If not for these dreams you wouldn't suspect the valkyr, or other accomplices. Plus you wouldn't know he had the hots for Mona. I for one would love to see more of these dream sequences but with out the blur or the stylistic shit they want to put in. The levels were great, they were crazy, confusing just like his dreams. But why the motion blur, why the twisting on the camera lens. Why the rubbish! Fuck if I were max I wouldn't dream of losing people I’d dream of fucking Mona:P Now that would make it an R rated game Razz

heh croft used to be hot Sad But once she hit the big screen the only person who i consider hot in the croft family is jolie. God, jolie gets hotter and hotter every movie she makes. Can't wait for tomb raider three Razz If there ever will be one Very Happy I hope there will.
