|

I've got a Razer Diamondback but the side buttons really sucks, totaly unusable. It also feels really cheap and plastic.
What i like is the size (i have small hands), so a mouse with similiar design but much better side buttons would be prefered. I dont care that much about the DPI, im not a professional CS player or such.. Are the new Razer's any good?
Any suggestions would be helpful.

The design is about the same, only minor changes, back buttons kinda sucks. But you get used to them, what I really want is to be able to bind more windows buttons to the mouse, or ATLEAST bind 2 windows buttons to the same side.. God I hate that, no idea if that problems exists on the copperhead but it really sucks to bind a keyboard button to the mouse..
Other than that, great mouse... |
are the side buttons still one "2-way"-button on each side, i really didnt like that with the diamondback.

yes the low profile is very good, i really like that with the Razers. i have no idea why some companies, like logitech makes them that big and bulky, not very ergonomic that you have to keep your hand bent over it.

I bought a Razor Copperhead mouse a couple of month ago. At the beginning I was VERY disappointed, I found it to be way to sensitive and side buttons to be really utter crap, after 2 hours of gaming it was so awful that I switched back to my old shitty Logitech mouse. I couldn't return it since I threw all packaging away, so I had no choice but to keep it. I kept playing my old mouse for some time and from time to time I was trying to switch but I couldn't manage to play with it.
Let me just add that I'm mostly playing some PvP game, I'm already having some anger management issues when loosing, so if my mouse is not doing exactly what I want it to do this is just impossible for my nerves to handle, I'm sure one day I will end up killing people IRL because of PvP gaming but this is another story.
After spending ~70$ on this mouse, I decided to force my self to play with it and after some time I started to get used to it, even though I still preferred my old mouse mostly because I was use to it's sensibility & feeling, I was getting *ok* playing with the new mouse.
2 weeks after my decision, I was used to the mouse and to the feel, I definitively unplugged my old Logitech and started playing 100% on the Copperhead. Now it has been 2 month and I must say I'm loving it, it's really accurate and fast. The 2 side buttons are still crap, I can manage to use them but pressing them feel somehow unnatural. It really took me a lot of time to get used to it but now that I'm I must say it's really a great gaming mouse and I would recommend It to any Hardcore gamer.

Nah for the time being I'm ok, but if one day I start thinking about it seriously I'll make sure to kill you and your family first.
