I think I'll skip this one, the demo wasn't good at all.
Very buggy and laggy game. I hope they fix many of the buggs.
I think I'll give it a try when it comes out, but I don't have high expectations to this one.

I enjoyed it a lot more after they patched it up a bit...
Might check this one out, hopefully they have put even more work into it.
I wish they would add 3rd person to vehicles though. Last I read, they were all hardcore against it to "add to gameplay" and to "keep it fair" or some crap.

This game will be great,
I have no touble playing this game online,
and since the update came out I dont see any bugs at all,
played many a game with upto 120 players without any lag at all,
and if anyone still have touble playing this game well maybe its down to your hardware and not the software,
and dont forgot that its the beta demo...
look for me in the game, tag = mad hatter

i liked most of the novalogic games although they often fell short, when it came to story or atmosphere, but ever since they introduced me to their voxel-space engine that gave us comanche and numerous other games i never really disliked their games. Should be fun...

Quote: | 100-player Joint Operations MP demo debuts tomorrow
Reserve the official multiplayer demo of NovaLogic's would-be BF1942-killer via GameSpot DLX.
NovaLogic announced today that the official multiplayer demo for Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising will be available on Wednesday, June 9, 2004. The developer/publisher emphasized that this was the final, complete demo, not the beta demo released earlier this year. The demo will feature a new multiplayer map for up to 100 players and will feature 19 drivable vehicles, 27 modern-day weapons, five classes, and two countries. Gamers interested in downloading the demo can reserve a copy for automatic delivery via GameSpot DLX.

I was in the beta and let me say that the beta is much better than the demo even. I am glad they are releasing a new demo, but I fear that they will be laggy as HELL with 100 people. They better have the servers ready for thousands to be hammering them....
