FUCK!
On Saturday I went fishing. Those who live in Toronto, know how awful the weather was. I went to Alliston national park. (w/ my brother in law)
It was windy. It was raining. And I forgot to bring a jacket. I left at 6:30 am and the weather looked fair. By the time we got there, I was soaked in rain and already sneezing.
Sadly, I caught nothing except for a head cold.
I went the day before to a river, only my nephew (eight (nine this Friday)) caught couple tiny fish and rubbed it in my face.
On Sunday, I got drunk at 3pm. Cognac, scotch, an ice cold beer and watched the movie over the hedge with my nephew. By gametime (caro vs buffo) I already had a sore throat.
Now I’m dizzy, got a stuffy nose and can’t hold my head up high without my eyes having a minor uncontrollable tremor.
As for the aching muscles, I went to play catch with my nephew yesterday. I was running after the ball like a mad man, and he kept complaining to me that I’m not throwing it to him. So after 45 minutes of that, I went home.

We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year, running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.

lol aching muscles.
when i went training again last thursday after some time i overdid myself again (like i always do) and im still a bit styff and my muscles dont have any force . before that something even more funny happened. couple months ago, before christmas i went training and i overdid it way to much, my breastmuscles were stinging and all. now they started to swell they didnt look like girl boobs tho but like abnormal muscle boobs. anyway i couldnt move my arms higher than my chest for a week and it kept on stinging . now everytime i tell my mates im going training again they start laughing

You need to warm up properly. You could be doing some minor muscle damage. Stretch and warm down properly. I used to get cramps really badly and ache 24-48 hours later worse than I did when I was / after training. It was mostly caused from not warming up and warming down. Just doing the exercises without these two stages makes a big difference. It's not from being lazy, or a lack of exericise. Of course if you do the training for 5 weeks you're going to gradually get better, but it's going to be 2 steps forward 1 step back without you realising it.

from being wet and cold yes.
going out into the rain without anything covering your head is almost a sure way to
get one.

@nouse
You have as much of a chance of catching a cold from being cold as you do catching the flu from flying. LOL
My Grandma used to say you catch virsus through your feet.
You get the virus when you are exposed to it and have a weaken immune system. Standing for a long period of time outside shivering in wet clothes will weaken the immune system to the point where the virus takes over.
I used to get sick when I went to a club and people were spitting in your face so you can hear them over the loud music. Another reason why I hate the bar scene.
