i have 5 nieces and 2 nephews all ranging 1 - 13 and its awesome.
but i dont like other kids then them

(off topic) I was thinking about an invisible fence for the dog, buy decided to just use a leash/cable for now.

Its better just to take a ½ hour each day to train basics with the dog. Like stay, sit down, lay down etc.
Then you will see that having a leash is no problem at all. But its also important to learn the dog when you are serious and when you want to have fun with it.
For Example takin on the collar when trainning and walking it. And talking it off while your kids/you play with it.
