I guess it could be the same reason many people archive gamez or appz, a kind of OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) maybe. Im actually considering throwing out old cds soon, as I have a lot of junk (mostly games) I'll never use again.

Why would people chose to watch them on a computer when they could burn it onto a DVD and watch it on a nice big TV, perhapes in their bedroom? Not that I have lots because I find 90% of them to not be very good. I will skim thu it on the computer and if its any good I burn it. Then I pass it along to my male friends plus another couple.

You know what you should do?
Keep on collecting, then apply for a spot in the Guiness Book of Records as the person with the most porn on dvd's.
I'm currently doing the same thing, except not with porn but with O RLY Owls pictures.

the last 30 movies ive downloded, got deleted after a 10 minutes zapping.
i was considering the option of converting in a pron director myself, and teach all those sick bastards how to make a good turning on film.
(the reason i haven't done it, is because of the lack of girls i know, that wants to eh... film it.)

HaHa Why is it shocking that I am a girl? Care to explain?
My point being - I thought all guys that had free access to porn would have huge DVD porn collection.
Unless you live with your parents why would you watch it on a computer when you could watch it sitting on a couch in front of the TV. TV is bigger, it's better, burning is fast, dvd's are cheap. I don't think its OCD at all. Its just practical.

Seriously, I don't download porn anymore, especially not 700mb+ one's if I do. Even with GGB it got a bit stale from watching the same parts again so that got deleted after a bit.
tbh I don't think watching porn on a huge TV is any different from watching it on your monitor. If anything it's probably better closer up and has a higher quality too.
Still tho pistol, it's obvious you have sticky sofa's so as long as you wipe it clean after you, you're alright

Optimal porn usage in my books means grabbing a partner, a bottle of wine or 3, playing DVD, starting it off on the couch and ending it in the bed. That is not true at all. One woman I know made a mess of her sofa from doing it. Maybe you're not like a waterfall, but women vary more than men do in amounts.
Porn with a partner isn't good either imo. Depends if you mean fucking porn, or cheesy storyline type porn. I don't like cheesy storyline porn because I rarely watch it with sound on with my family about, and story lines are boring when you just wanna see some woman gettin pounded for a bit  |

i agree with the recent porn. actually the porn of the last few years. its way too rough doesnt turn me on anymore. i dl a movie from time to time, zap through it and 99% of the time it gets deleted. if i just see one anal scene its history already. cant stand that assfucking, just sickens me. the only porn i archive is the porn i dl from sites i "found" a pass for  those scenes are much better than the movies from the porn industry, and you can choose your favourite genre as well
