Hmm bit of a problem here, windows me doesnt seem to agree with my hp deskjet drivers. brings up spool32 errors. I have tried every possible solutions i can think of apart from replacing the actual spool file (which is impossible to find over google).

I know the printer works as ive had it working with it before.

now it says spool32 has caused an error in kernal32.dll. Spool32 will close.

how annoying.. solutions anyone?

If there is something wrong with spool32, can you not use sfc to replace corrupt or modified system files?

May the NFOrce be with you always.

Windows ME? you could try to boot into dos and run scanreg /restore (choose a backup with a date before you got the problem, though it only saves the last seven days/reboots), one of the very few good features of Windows 98 and ME. I think it was located in %Systemdrive%\Windows\System32 or %Systemdrive%\Windows\command, or just search for scanreg*.* Wink
