I installed the game, then the 1.05 euro patch, then copy the crack files as said in the NFO. I can enter the normally, then I go in new game and all works fine, but when a chose the equipament for the mission(there are 3 option: recommend , stealth and assault) and accept, the screen becomes black and after some seconds messagem error("Splintercell3.exe Has Encountered a Problem and Needs to Close") and the game exit to Windows.... Sad Mad

.For curiosity I tried to play the tutorial in the versus mode and the game works fine Confused (this always works, even without crack) but in the solo game I had this error.

Does anybody knows a solution for this problem???

After a long time of wait this game must works... hheheh Very Happy

* My PC is agree with the system requiriments of the game.

*My video Card is a FX 5200

** Sorry by my English... Very Happy

Are you on a system below XP SP2? If so then get the OS fix and see if that fixes it.

But i think isnt because of this I got the error, the game should run slowly, but not give a error....

Lots of things could cause it. And your problem is CPU. Get a new one or play older SC's.

I downloaded e tested the Demo Version of the Chaos Theory and the game works perfect(and at good speed), without crash when I load of the level.

So it's not problem with my PC, it's something about the released of full version.

I installad the OS FIX and the troble continues... Mad

I dont know more what to do ...

Try running a clone. If it will crash then its your PC's fault.

Demos - especially those from Ubis*ft - run more easily on older systems than the forthcoming game.
That's an old marketing trick. So many people who could run the demo for the game on their "old" PC buy the game in order to find out that for the latter their system is too weak.

This also happened with Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow. It's demo also ran on GeForce 2/4 MX cards, but the game didn't.

Hey DiegoB, perhaps i have a solution for you.
I had actually the same problem and i can confirm you that it is not the CPU or the requirements.
If you have McAfee you must disable the overflow buffer protection and the game will run fine.
Otherwise post here what is specifically the details of the error.
Hope this helps

bet its your cpu...im pretty sure sc uses SSE which your cpu doesnt support. vid card runs it only on lowest settings though. a friend of mine has a fx5200 and it runs, but a more up to date cpu...
