Anyone been watching the latest series?
Did anyone see the first two eps with the auditions. The cuban guy with the 'dead-pannery' jokes and the bald head who nearly started crying. Did anyone see him perform at night / later on? I was looking out for him but I didn't see him anywehre and cba d/l them again to check.
Anyway the only good thing on TV at the moment (other than the footy) so watch it people

Come on, I'm sure someone else watches this show. Did it air last night? the nbc site kinda says it did but I don't wanna read the episode review because it'll spoil it for me. TV.com is outdated too

Anyways, I watched it the first time it was on TV, when Dat Phan won (this dude: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dat_Phan ) ... not sure what season it's into now, but yeah ... summer tv is lame.

Dat phan won the first season and he's not funny. He's like 'i'm asian' .... huuuuuurrr hilarious. At first it was quite funny when he went into his not-really-understandable chinese accent and then revealed he spoke in a american accent. But that was only the first time really. On this one though there are some genuinely funny people, and although some have their 'chinese' catalyst, they also are pretty funny anyway. So far the worst people have been eliminated only ty and rebecca to go and then we're down to only funny people left. Although Michele isn't that funny she's better than the other 2. Rebecca is just annoying as fuck, and TY isn't anything. I aint seen much of him but he's not that good.
Kristen and chris are hilarious though and unless they go head to head then they're going to be the last two. Then it's a toss up between joshua and Gabriel for third, plus noone will challenge them because they're nice guys.

tried to watch it again
apparently it only pays to watch the first few episodes
all the folks who are actually talented and have proper insight in their comedy get throw out immediately, and the hacks doing shit jokes for cheap laughs are kept on
was brilliant when dat phan was on 'tough crowd' and the other comedians told him to do comedy without the stupid accent gimmick, and he simply couldn't
did follow on last season to the finish tho
alonzo bodden was great
it's pretty painful though
it's a great concept for a show, but it should really be judged by comics
and 75% of the show is telling what is going to happen in the next ten minutes, and what happened five seconds ago, and then it happens again
most patronising show i have ever watched

I've never watcdhed the other seasons and I love shows like this. On nbc you can watch the full performances which are worth watching. But not if you've seen the full episodes, but it's good. Why april even got through the first round I dont know. I thought the hank hill look-a-like was hilarious :/
