the first fps ive been even moderately excited about since hl2. hopefully it will fulfill my expectations and then some. too bad it lost the planned original soundtrack by kmfdm, tho.

This one will fail as will DNF. The reason is simple - nobody wants to shoot robots, aliens, pig cops and mutated crocodiles with guns. It's just boring even if its ps 3.0 + hdr all around. We're big spoilt kids who wanna kill real people (farcry), run them down with cars (gta) and put some nails in their heads (manhunt). Fuck sci-fi fps with monsters - nobody really gives shit.

Actually, I don't agree with you. I love this mindless games. They give me some good hours of just shooting stuff and blowing it up. I liked Doom3 alot, and even if it didn't bring any innovation in the genre I still enjoyed it. This game looks very good IMO. I especially like the whole Indian theme.

Game has only onlineactivation as protection. Lol those worked fine on Hl² or Earth 2160...
