Just got me a console for the first time , PSP! i have managed to get some movies converted ok and get set up on the net ok , but what i want to know, is there anyway i can play downloaded games safely on my PSP v2.50?? Remember SAFLEY , my missus will have my nuts if i screw this up ! Simple Yea or Nea will suffice.

Looks like the mod-chip is the way to go , eloader looks to complicated for a noob like me , cheers fellas

If i can play homebrew games using eloader and GTA ( i do have GTA but dont know what version i have) can i play games like Fifa Street 2 and 2006 , and can it do damage to my psp?

no it should be very safe.. The worst that can happen is that your PSP hangs. But then you just hold the powerbutton for 10 sec, and everythings back to normal.
The only programs that can damage your PSP are those that write to flash. Very few (if any at all?) loaders do that.

What the others have forgot to meantion is that you can't play ISO PSP games on firmware 2.1 to 2.7.. The mod chip will allow you to install an older firmware with which you can play downloaded ISO games, however it requires soldering and taking your PSP to bits, thus it probably isnt the best way to go unless you can find someone else to install it for you (bearing in mind its totally new, so there is a huge risk anyway).
The GTA loader will only let you play homebrew, not ISO PSP games.
