I tried it and it's only jap.
It's a damn fine game btw. I never liked part 1 on the psx, problary because of it's extremely boring side scrolling maps that completley lacked detail, especially in the town. This is also sidescrolled (3d movement in battles though) but the amount of detail and the awesome graphics helps it and makes it a joy to play.
The battle system is also brilliant with nice combos and things.
