I thought you guys might be interested in it, its still a nice game, and the original topic seems to be missing for some reason Smile

GENERAL

* Contact info:

* Upgrade must be applied to a clean install of the game. If any files to be patched have been altered, then the entire patching process will fail. If this happens, perform an uninstall of the game, choosing to keep save games, then re-install.

* Patched and un-patched games will not be able to connect to one another for network sessions.

* Following uninstallation of the patched game, there may be some files left in the Race Driver 3 folder (in addition to the save game file, if that was chosen to be kept). It is perfectly safe to delete these files.

NEW FEATURES

1.1:

* 12 player races allowed for all race types.

* "Return to Main Menu" button added to pause menu and car setup screen in free race and spoke mode.

* Can bring up the chat console in the lobby by pressing `.

* Pro-Sim options now save.

* Cheat analysis now applies more consistent rules when running wide onto rumble strips. Cheat severity tweaked.

* Battery meter and wireless signal meter display on compatible laptops. Is case of compatibility problems this feature can be turned off by setting the "MobileMeters" key to 0 in the "Graphics" section of the pchardwareconfig.ini configuration file.

FIXES

PATCH 1.1:

* Can no longer back out of discipline select to lobby options when in a network game. This stops a cheat that allows the server to use upgrades without the clients being able to in championship where upgrades should not be available.

* Cheat that allows a client to have different upgrades available to other network players has been disabled (car upgrades file is now checksummed locally and checksums must match the server).

* Bug fix for crashes whilst browsing for games.

I haven't tested it out, and since it is PC Games, this belongs here The reason I posted this, is because Codemasters used SecuROM in Sensible Soccer, so who knows. PC: Yes. Console: No.

The patch updates the protection to 3.7.16.4 Too bad, I hoped another protection PC: Yes. Console: No.

Yeah i too was pissed off they updated the protection as my mounted image would no longer work, but there is a way round. There is a mini image floating about that works with the v1.1 patch. I've tested it myself, the mini image however does not work with v1.0 (no i don't understand why either) but it does work with v1.1 patch.

i had the reloaded version of the game with the image mounted and crack applyed i just downloaded the patch from the site and installed it and it worked fine.. i didnt have to use a new crack or anything i just ran the game like before after the patch install not sure if it whas just a fluke.. or it just like this on everyones comp

lol if you used the old crack you just wasted your time. the old crack isnt 1.1 so you get none of the fixes that are in 1.1 now you have to uninstall and reinstall because you most likely fucked shit up by copying an old exe over a newer version. good job Very Happy
