I need a new fuckn' job, I like the one I'm at but I don't make nearly enough ($16.81 / hr) and my bills are starting to kill me.
But all jobs are like "SHIT YO WE NEED HARDCORE SUPER ADMINS TO MANAGE 4596843856 WEBSITES OVER 32894209345 HARDCORE ENTERPRISE (WAY TOO HARD FOR YOU) DATABASES"
IT's like, shit, where did all the simple programming jobs go, everyone is all hardcore these days and I don't have time to get hardcore while I'm at this job.
And other jobs in this area (tech support for schools) is too shitty, there's no moving up.
Fuckin' life.

What exactly are you admin of? AD, webserver, db server? There are still some areas with good opportunities, the best is actually software deployment, depends on the sytems you have experience with.

I just admin a whole bunch of schools in a district (like 6 schools).
I maintain the network, the servers, install new stuff, upgrade, handle all the client machines, serve tech support for all employees, manage security and backup, crap like that.
This district is just broke.. haha.
We work with linux and windows, some mac stuff.. mostly ubuntu flavor. Windows 2000 adv. server manages all the accounts for logins, you know, blah blah blah.

Or...what kinda schools do you admin for? highschools? if so, spend a couple of days at the highschool, get know some of the kids and then bang, $100 for a C, $200 for a B and $400 for an A. You'll make good money quicktime

Just take a boring but well paid job while you look for something better. With your qualifications and work experience it shouldn't be too hard.
Thats what i'm doing, i'm a logistics manager, and it's the most boring job in the world, I certainly don't want to be doing this for too long. But it pays well (£16/hour) and the finances allow me to look for a job i'll really enjoy.
