hi there,
i finally decided i need a gpu (i have radeon 9200se), and i couldnt find any gforce 7800 / radeon x1800(not sure im right about the radeon series) cards for agp.
Do i have to upgrade my motherboard? or should i hope for an agp version?
thanks

The highest agp for nvidia is 7800gs, not sure about ati, maybe x1300pro?<not sure on that one, might want to upgrade for a new cpu though, not just for video card.

WRONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG.... (well kinda)..

The 7800GS is not that good a card, however Gainward have created a GS based soley on the GT board/chip which is FAR better..

The "Gainward BLISS 7800GS" is the way forward, it is far better than the other GS cards.. and is said to be the best AGP card to ever be made.

It's not really worth investing in an AGP anymore, sure you can buy the card syn mentioned, but it's very expensive compared to PCI-E cards.

that card has same spec as 6800 Ultra ,don't see any point overpaying for that stuff
but yeah PCIX cards are much cheaper,it's just changing whole system for another one just to get on new platform is a bit expensive,i would rather buy x360 if just to play games, it has same price as 7900GT or what ever it is there, plug it to your monitor and u got yourself eye candy gfx Smile
