Lazy webmaster?
I just looked at the screenshots from E3 2006, and man... unbelievably fucking ugly. This game better have some superuberduper gameplay mechanics to make up for that PUKE ON MY MONITOR.

That picture is like a really bad box cover from the 80's! Is this thread a joke by the way?

Well if your not a truck game fan then why bothering posting here.
Rig N Roll News: We hope to upload development update this week. All the materials are prepared, only some technical job of our web master is left.
We are completing game world development. Our testers already drive along all roads, but some part of them are not yet all ready. We have a big task concerned with night view of our cities and the most of our designers are currently involved in this task.
Also we are working on some script missions, characters animations and economic balance of the game. As for date - it is not yet announced. Please be patient!

I dunno, I personally like them. Of course it would be better if the environments and graphics were somewhat more immersing but cest la vie.

I found something interesting at the official Rig'n'Roll forum. Well the Russian forum that is linked at www.rignroll.com Here is the url of the forum. http://forums.games.1c.ru/?type=topics&gid=31&tid=
I go there all the time and look for news, but usually they get their news from Truckpol, but for once we can take something from them.
Here is the translation of an article published at a Russian media news website.
"News" July 28, 2006
The head of the department of licensing and promotion of 1C Nikolay Barishnikov is estimating, that the biggest hit on the western market will be "Dalnoboyshiki-3: Conquest of America", which is being developed by Softlab-nsk and will be published by 1C. The release of the game is being planned for fall of 2006.
According to the words of Barishnikov, even Dalnoboyshiki-2 had a big success in the USA, but the next version of the game is made especially for the American market.
The original article in Russian can be found at this link. http://www.bit.prime-tass.ru/news/show.asp?id=41628&ct=news
So even 1C the publisher says the game will be released in fall of 2006. The release date is up to the publisher so I think this is the truth. Yes it is already fall, but fall has 3 months. Also I think the lack of news at the official site can be explained by the probability that the game is almost finished.

yeah, when you make such a big territory available for free roam it takes time. It's the old dilemma - while you make a big map the industry makes a big step ahead gfx-wise and you need to retexture and partially remodel the whole stuff and it takes time again and so on and so on...

Very impressed by those videos, I hope they work on the handling of the trucks more the responsiveness of the truck looks more like a car if anything, maybe hes using some ghetto game controller?. Anyway looks promising looking forward to it!
