The Sacred Gold version i have is v2.24 and the crack from GCW 2.12 works fine singleplayer. Sadly when you copy over the patch, the game shows version 2.12 instead of 2.24 and will not connect to its own gameserver.exe for LAN multiplayer since this is still 2.24 (wrong server version).
Is there any way of playing Sacred LAN multiplayer, i.e. changing the gameserver.exe to 2.12 or any working crack for 2.24?
