Anyone who may be interested, this japanese release defaults to english voice and subs, all menu's, options and text are in english, it looks like the game is western with a japanese localisation.
You have to select language in options to change to japanese.
Tb gives it 2 thumbs up [and he likes this genre!]
The game is more than a year old. PAL and US versions for PS2/XBOX were released in march 05. Imo it's pretty nice even though it was a budget release.
