My girlfriend has accepted that we should start playing a game togheter tonight. She has tried racing-games and fps but i think they are all to fast-paced for her. So i think an adventure-game would be fine the best for her/us.

Then, what game would we try to play togheter. I haven't ever played grim fandango, maybe that would be a good one? But it seems odd to start a 8 year old game, i guess there should be something never/better to play with?

Can anyone recommend a not so fast paced game with a good story that we could play togheter?

Thank you!

Any game that will help you help her. It will let you both get closer or some shit like that.

Adventure games are somewhat good... but they can get frustrating. And when a person is stressed, i know from experience, a little nullifying sound will make them go ape shit on your face.

Try first person shooter that allow coop.
Serious Sam

Nolf

Etc. Heck... AVP if it had coop (i dunno) would be fantastic.

Racing games too. Just not with a steep learning curve. You might be a pro at gran turismo, but she's an old school gal with a thumb for nfs 3 hp. Laughing

see where i'm gettin' at.

Gram Fandango is a great game to play together. But it can get tideous. Try games that involve both of you. I dunno. I would never want to introduce gaming to someone. I dunno.

FPS's are your best bet. First couple weeks are difficult. But after that she’ll be kicking your ass and having fun. Laughing

'Sides... why ae you gaming when your girl is over? I'd be out and about!!! Laughing

Gaming should be a reason to let the time pass quicker until the next time you see her. A fast forward if you will. Laughing

Just remember... games are meant to be fun... Very Happy Laughing

Siberia and Siberia 2

Suggested with first hand experience.

She played them in backwards order but she liked 2 so much she went back and played 1.
SHe didn't like computers at all (gaming is for geeks syndrom) plus didn't even really know how to use one.

Now... can't get enough adventure games and even plays WoW and EQ2 with me Wink
...but that's optimistic thinking for most Smile

Muff.

I'm leaning towards Syberia 1-2 or eventually Grim Fandango.
What about a game like "The elder scrolls IV - Oblivion"? I haven't played any games like that so i don't know if they are very complicated and not easy to play with a friend (in my case girlfriend)?

We only have one computer, so we can't play co-op in any fps or race against each other in racing games. That's why i was asking for an adventure, since i think it's easiest to have a good time while playing a computergame together.

And for you that wonder why i think of playing games with my girlfriend. We have been togheter for seven years and have two children, so we need to be at home every evening when the children has gone to bed. So i think of this as seeing a movie together, only more fun and it lasts longer then a movie.

Thank you for your good answers, but i think i'll pass on the LULA 3D. Wink

Oblivion is very complicated if you've never tried an ES game before.

I'd recommend Lego Star Wars, it's very simple and fairly easy. You can play multiplayer on one PC.

any strategy game like Warcraft III / Age of Empires / Diablo would be really simple to start learning on then you can move on to FPS/RPG/Adventure

or if you really insist on starting out with adventure you could probably go with tomb raider but from what i hear most of the tomb raider games suck

Discworld series do well if she likes fantasy series

Else try things like Broken Sword and the such (so point and click adventure)

if you own a PSX try the game "D", which is very scary and fun at the same time.

If she is more into games, basicly any RPG game will do nicely, if the setting is something she likes.

Personally I dont care about lesbians. I think that you need a stone hard cock in the mix that can do some damage. Two hot chicks grindin' and suckin' is a waste imo. It's like owning a sportscar and driving under 50.

I have a lot of years using computers, I agree that Syberia is a very good game for a woman, because the main character is a woman and is lovely all time, is not a woman with big boobs, you know what I mean.

I used to be a knee like you. Then I took an adventurer in the arrow.
