Maybe the 360 will get a MGS with Raiden (MGS:R) and we (PS3) will get a MGS with BigBoss (MGS:B)

You are right about that but he didn't mention that it was exclusive at all. And they announced all the exclusives before they announced this.
Don't get me wrong about Kojima, I wish he did release MGS 4 to the 360 so everyone can enjoy the game, but with no info and just a teaser, I'm personally waiting before I get my hopes up high. |

Exactly. When the reviews came out for MGS4, fanboys ate this shit up. I'm so glad I own all consoles and a nice computer, it must be torture to watch others play good shit. |

I don't follow  You say that people were sad when there was no MGS on 360 and now they are happy that there will be MGS on 360. What's wrong with that?
Oh, and btw, the only thing that matters is the final product.

Well, most people I IRC'd with went "OMG IT'S MGS4, POWNAGE", then they realized it's a Raiden game. There were some butt hurt Sony fanboys as well. It just seems MS wants to bring an MGS game (any at that) to break the "sony exclusive" veil.
Truth be told, exclusives are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Look at Crysis 2. Tekken 6. FFXIII. DMC4. Valve games.
Also, three-shitty, lol, never heard that one before.

I mean yeah, multi plat is the way to go to make some great money. But you gotta sell your system, and that's where the exclusives come in. PS3 was having enough trouble and they still haven't announced a price cut yet. |

Well, if I was Konami I'd have done this sooner.
Nothing to do with Microsoft, whether they threw money in their direction or not - and according to everything I've read this is multi-platform, not exclusive, so there's really no reason for PS3 fanboys to get bent out of shape over a spin-off title.
It's good news for everyone involved if that's the case.
If it turns out to be an exclusive however... the world will burn.
