I see 1080i movies that fit on a DVD, how can I play them on my tv? do I have to do it through my pc?? if so that sucks.

U have to have a HDTV and you would probably have to play it through your computer, IF you don't have some hd dvd player that can play High definition stuff.

I don't think there is any dvd player that plays high definition xvid, at least not at a reasonable price.

You have to output from PC ....

yeah they are about 200-400 bucks if you find them. And they are usually just network supported anyhow.
