Welp i rarely share shit, but i do share a lot shit here since a few years so might as well post the positive outcome, finally got my visa approved today! 1-2 weeks and ill be in New Jersey moving in with my wife whos living there since a while ago, we rented so we are alone now, she has a good job, im shipping my race car to NJ as soon as its painted and the engine is in again.
So yeah, fuck DR, fuck yeah, hope the car shipping goes smoothly, hope i get a job soon, yada yada.

arent u better off selling it locally and buying/building one in the usa where there is a huge racing and tuning scene and porobably a lot cheap on sale now people need rent money due to corona ?
an imported car is like wet pussy for cops n tax people to pull u over and tax the shit out of u for their roads, be prepared to open all ur cavities

Ehhh not really, if i buy all that i have on the car and build the engine, ill be paying X amount lets say, but selling it here, would mean selling for X-2X basically, or even more, people dont pay the value of things here in DR. I would basically give the car for 1/4 its value.
Im importing it as an offroad car, no registry for it, the person i have already did it for his brothers drag car and it was supposedly very cheap and easy. We just need to calculate for NJ.
Nah im even thinking about working on the racing scene, but IT pays way too much in comparison.
